It was very nice to be put beside my good friend Evelyn in the July/August edition of Visual Artists Ireland Newsheet. She is a get things done woman for sure and is my age. I liked having more or less full editorial control over the article also. I mean I know they want you to write it, not them, but this process suits me, as I can make sure it reads how I want it to read. In retrospect I like the image they used also, a still from the performance ‘Stubble Field 2,1’ last October. As its a dynamic image, a travelling image. I was able to write in my own, anti- art discourse manner, about what steps I have taken and why. This is an opportunity I was lucky to get.
